The Leading Edge was founded in 2023 in conjunction with its partner organization, The Dyslexic Edge, a non-profit that has provided reading intervention and STEM enrichment to students in the Washington, DC region since 2016.

Inspired by the experience she had with her own daughter who has Dyslexia and ADHD, the founder and CEO, Krista K. Gauthier, created these organizations to help ALL people who are neurodivergent reach their full potential. Employing her over 20 years of experience in consulting, curriculum development, and non-profit management, Krista built these two organizations to not only help those individuals but to also assist companies, agencies, and schools navigate the world of neurodiversity.

How we work:

We meet with our clients to assess the organization’s needs and goals. We then work closely to design and implement a customized statement of work. Together we will develop a plan to build a workforce culture that embraces different ways of thinking, interacting, and working.
